Maryfaith
I drove it all thru high school. In fact, I got my driver's license in 1973 with this car.

I'm pretty sure this is the car that a bunch of us mooned from while Mary Faith drove. Mendham was a small, quaint, pre-Revolutionary town full of conservatives, and with no movie theater or ice cream parlor, so it was pretty much perfect for entertaining and slightly obscene high school rebellion. A moon through an open window was called a "full moon." A moon in colder months, up against the glass of the raised window, was called a "pressed ham." We also drove around squirting people with squirt guns. I still laugh when I think about this, almost 50 (!) years later. I loved Mick and Jeanne Goessling and miss them very much, but I have to say I'm glad they didn't know how we desecrated their car. At least, I sure hope they didn't know...

The Staff Car!
My greatest Matador memory was Andy broadsiding a classmate @ the Talmadge road / Cherry lane intersection ( in front of Mr. Doggett’s house). I think that was the end of the Matador….
Pretty sure Maryfaith learned to drive in that car and did a lot of mooning with her friends .
Ted and I rode in the back-back often and dropped a lot of stuff out the window . I also recall starting it and moving it around in the drive way.
