• This car was fun to drive, but I don't think it lasted very long. Maybe we had it from 1966 to 1970?

• I am sure that I greatly shortened the life of the clutch in this car by racing it from the end of the road. I think I could get to 4th gear by the time I reached the Mountain's driveway. How did I get away with this?

• I also remember teaching Alex Waugh how to drive stick shift in this car. He would start at our driveway and than I would make him at some steep part of the hill and then start up again without rolling back.

• I only have dim memories of this car, but seeing the picture makes it clear that the body style imprinted itself on Bob, Paul, and Steve so that they later ended up owning Saab 95 wagons.
