Ted
Tan car with a brown interior, this was the primary Goessling car of my school years in Mendham.
When Steve got his license, I remember driving it back and forth over a special hump in the road by Ledells Pond trying to get all four wheels off the ground.
I got my license in this car. I look back with wonder on the fact that I drove this car by myself from Mendham to Silver Burdett in order to pick up dad so that he could be in the car when I went for my license test. Nobody thought it was weird that I didn't have a license yet. It just worked out better for family scheduling if I drove myself.
I think mom and dad gave this car to Jeff Troast when they moved back to Chicago. I have a vague memory of hearing that it died on the beach on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina or some beach in Florida.

My Aspen memory is hitting the Ellman’s mailbox with it; broken windshield & flat tire+ the mail box replacement. In a miracle Saturday sequence- Ted & I had it fixed in one day! We also taught ourselves auto maintenance on that car; oil changes, plugs etc…
